LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge’s largest electronics recycling event takes place this weekend.

Starting today, Sept. 13, residents can recycle and donate their electronic devices for free as part of an initiative spearheaded by Ecycle Drive.

Residents can bring any and all electronic items to these four locations:

· Save-on-Foods (401 Highlands Blvd. W.)

· Save-on-Foods (1240 2 Avenue A N.)

· Peavey Mart (33 Southgate Blvd. S.)

· 1817 3 Avenue S. (next to the Mint Smartwash)

The items will be safely recycled or put back into use into the community, depending on their condition.

Collection services will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Sept. 13 to Monday, Sept. 16.

Ecycle Drive says the campaign can help divert over 50,000 pounds of electronics away from landfills.
